Billy Lo AKA has Turkish origins but was born and raised in Belgium. He started making hip-hop at the end of the 1980's and turned to house music at the beginning of the 1990's thanks to DJ/Producers like , and . At first, he produced sensual and deep house tracks on Belgian record labels like and and started remixing , (from ) and tracks. Then he created his record label where he released his tracks under the name of Billy Lo (with tracks like "Close Your Eyes & See" and "Reality Of Life"). After that he released "The Turkish Avenger" EP on under the name of Sedat. His appearance on the "Waves" compilations helped him in reaching a larger public. He recently set up a new record label called Street Nostral Freak.
