Moonweed - Voice Of Jupiter

Voice of Jupiter by Moonweed: A Psychedelic Beast That Won’t Let Go Alright, buckle up. Voice of Jupiter by Moonweed isn’t just another Goa Trance album—it’s a full-on assault to your senses, released back in 2014 under Israel’s Anjuna Records. This thing slaps harder than most electronic albums you’ve probably spun lately. It’s raw, relentless, and unapologetically trippy. If you’re into stuff that feels like it was made for desert raves at 3 AM, this one’s gonna hit different. Let’s talk tracks because not every song here is created equal. First off, there’s “Prophecy.” Holy crap, this track doesn’t mess around. The build-up is slow but brutal, teasing you with these alien-like synths before exploding into this chaotic swirl of sound. You can almost feel the sand whipping against your face while listening to it. It’s hypnotic as hell, man. Like, I remember putting this on repeat during a road trip once, and suddenly I wasn’t sure if I was driving or floating through space. That’s how good it is. Then there’s “Spiral Expansion (MoonwOOOD Mix).” Yeah, yeah, remixes are often hit-or-miss, but this one? Pure fire. The bassline grabs you by the throat right from the start, and those glitchy effects layered over the top make it feel like your brain’s short-circuiting in the best way possible. Every time I hear this track, I get flashbacks to some wild night where everything went sideways—but in a fun way. It’s got that perfect mix of chaos and control that makes Goa Trance so damn addictive. The rest of the album holds its own too. Tracks like “Celestial” and “Telepath (Remix)” keep the energy high without feeling repetitive, which is no small feat. And let’s give props to Samuel Farrand for the artwork and design—it’s all cosmic vibes and neon colors, matching the vibe of the music perfectly. Shoutout to Tim Schuldt for mastering this beast too; the clarity and punch in each track are insane. But here’s the kicker: listening to Voice Of Jupiter feels less like hearing an album and more like surviving an experience. By the end of it, you’re either gonna be sweating bullets or questioning reality—or both. Honestly, isn’t that what great music should do? So yeah, if you’re looking for something safe and predictable, skip this. But if you want an album that’ll chew you up, spit you out, and leave you begging for more, grab a copy of Voice Of Jupiter. Just don’t blame me when you find yourself lost in thought about whether Jupiter really does have a voice—and why it sounds so freaking awesome. And hey, random thought: whoever mastered this must’ve had caffeine running through their veins. Either that or they sold their soul to the devil. Both seem equally plausible.
