- About Me: I was born in the early 80's and as a little girl only wore dresses, and I did ballet for several years. You would think that as I grew older that I would of turned into a high maintenance diva but actually it was quite a different story. When middle school & high school came along I would always opt for a good pair of jeans and a t-shirt or a cute top w/ the jeans. My mom during that time was selling AVON and also my sister in law was working at the Lancôme counter, so I had access to makeup but I didn't know how to apply it, the little sponge tip applicator did give the look that I was trying to achieve, and also the colors never came out the same than swatching the colors on your fingers.
Then I graduated high school and whole new world was opened up to me although it still took me till I was around 21 that I bought my first makeup from Makeup Forever (MUFE). I not only did my makeup but I would do other ppls makeup and it gave me practice on doing looks that were shaped for the clients eye. Everything I have learned was on my own and was not taught to me. Now what really had me sold into makeup artistry is when I became ill in April 2010, I went to the MAC cosmetic store and purchased and entire day look that could be transformed to night look. I even bought and began to wear lipstick which was a first. MY first lipsticks were VIVA Glam Lady Gaga nude and Russian Red. And from that point on I became a "cosmetic whore" and a "lipstick junkie". The rest you'll have to find out in my blogs.
