- About Me: As I begin my new journey as Director of Event Services & Marketing for the Bedford Columns Estate - Event & Conference Center. The antebellum style mansion was built in 1848 and is located on a hill overlooking the Town of Bedford which is just 30 minutes from Lynchburg.
This job will combine many of my passions, including: history, hospitality, sales, special events, and accommodations.
Our Bedford Columns Estate has been "Celebrating Love Since 1848" and is the ideal location for you and your family to celebrate many of life’s wonderful moments. Whether it is a baby shower, family reunion, birthday, awards banquet, or even perhaps a wedding there is no better location in Central Virginia.
The beautiful facility is owned by Runk & Pratt, a local, family-owned company that operates four of the best senior living communities here in Lynchburg. They are also in the process of developing the “The Bella Rose Plantation & Event Center" which will be another spectacular event venue opening in Lynchburg in Spring, 2016.
