While most people would relate Medicare with insurance products, like Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplements (i.e., Medigap) and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans, the topics are much broader and touch a large number of seniors on a daily basis.
My goal with the MedicareWire.com website is to cover all of the politics, benefits, services and products that matter most to seniors. It's an amazing industry.
Baby Boomers instigated many cultural changes in America, often through protest. I believe that they will kick, scream and protest again through all of the changes that need to come about to keep Medicare and Social Security solvent for future generations. MedicareWire.com will report the news and views of these changes.
I started development on the MedicareWire.com website in April, 2012. When the core development is complete in December, 2012 it will contain five primary topic areas, including: news, insurance products, Medicare benefits information, services and supplies.
Medicare services and supplies are massive topics covering dental, hearing, vision, therapy, diabetes, weight loss, assistive furniture, living aids, mobility aids, eye care, infusion pumps, respiratory care and more. Needless to say, this is a project that will keep me busy for a very long time.
