In addition to his musical career, he is a former Marine Staff Sergeant, published writer and poet, long-distance thru-hiker and nationally-certified, professional ski Instructor. Sometimes you can find him busking with his harmonica, wearing his trademark hat and two-tone shoes in the Gaslamp District under his blues pseudonym: “Willy B.”
