- About Me: Urban Maestro are an upcoming urban music group from South- East London consisting of 3 talented artists (Blinkz , J.Dreadz and Y.S.D) who formed the group in early 08. The boys decided to form this group as they all had the passion to take their playground entertainment further. They have been producing and writing their own material from day one till present. With the team having two producers they have been able to create a number of genres and also creating new fusions to give their music a new fresh sound, by doing this the trio have showed the public their versatility in music and also showed they are not afraid to explore and try something new. The team have been doing many live performances in and around London allowing them to build a fan base. The group also had their first debut on radio 1xtra in November 08 on the Tim Westwood show.
From releasing their first official mix tape, entitled "NEXT BEST FING" which was available on hard copy from June 2010 the group have showed this versatility with their music and also showed their creative side. Urban maestro has now formed an independent record label as they create all their music from music production to recording editing and mastering and so on, by doing so they have opened themselves to more markets by also creating a clothing line entitled “Maestro Wear” which is due to hit late December.
