Released in 2010 under labels like Mississippi Records and Domino Sound, this folk/world/country gem doesn’t try to be flashy—it just is. And sometimes, that’s more than enough. The album kicks off with “Where To Go,” which hits different right away. It’s one of those tracks where the lyrics feel like they were scribbled on a napkin during a late-night heart-to-heart. The melody is simple but sticks to your ribs, kinda like grits at breakfast. There’s something about the way Uke sings—"Where do we go now?"—that makes you wanna sit down and figure out life for a minute.
