- About Me: Chandini Hemdev is a Media Studies graduate, from CMS Jain University. Chandni has been voicing her feelings in poetry for over 5 years. The book "Something written, yet unwritten'' is her first publication. The book is a collection of those teenage feelings, emotions, and memoranda of some mystic nostalgia. The poems deal with those mundane issues in a teenager's life. Pertaining mainly to their family, relationships, the dating taboo and a whole lot of love affairs, be it with just a bond of friendship or a normal folk relationship.
Life in itself is a paradox and we come into accepting that, as much of our life we know is written, there are more vast expanses of blank unwritten sheets spread out, for us to fill them with the colorful events that we happen to carve in our journey of life.
Apart from poetry, Chandni has worked with a newspaper and a magazine and is the Managing Editor of the University Issue Magazine. Writing in any form according to Chandni is the smile to her soul. Though she loves writing, which to her is the solitude to vent, her aim or goal in life is to be a Wedding Planner and ensure that every bride who dreads to walk down the aisle, will be helped to turn her dreams into reality and ensure that the aisle is the easiest mile the bride treads on. Starting young, Chandni already has her own Wedding Planning Firm called ‘Purplee Moon’.
With her passion for writing and her enthusiastic personality, she has grown in life and has put forth all those experiences through her poems. She says, “I thank my hard times, for if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t explore myself and find the tranquillity that writing gives me”.
