- Surname: Diaz
- About Me: Life is interesting; nothing in my formal education could have prepared me for what is now and has been my career for nearly 30 years now.
Ask a youngster; “what do you want to be when you grow up” and nine out of ten’s aspiration will rarely come true. I wanted to be an artist. Everything in my bones spoke of art, drawing and making a living this way.
Fast forward to my late 20’s and I found myself living in the Pacific, producing endurance events, participating in Triathlon and Marathons. Who would have thunk it? A mid-western boy with no obvious talent for endurance sport, no history of it, and actually, hating to run.
From the early 80’s until this very day, I am entrenched in the art of human performance. I own and operate a sports performance lab, and over the past 20 years have provided clinical diagnostics, consulting, coaching and training for athletes of all shapes and sizes.
It is my passion. I have dedicated my entire being to the work, study, research and experimentation to the advancement of human performance. My forte is in functional energetics and gait analysis and correction. If you dig, you’ll find various other skill sets related to my work and experience, really to many to list here. My goal for this blog is to use this pulpit to speak to, listen to, teach and learn from those that are interested, savvy, enthusiastic or simply curious. I hope to meet these folks and interact with you soon.
