About Me: I've been an active responder in the Wake County (NC) EMS System since 1985. I've worked as an EMT, intermediate, paramedic and field training officer on an ambulance for 18 years. I worked at a district chief (EMS field supervisor) for the last 10 years. In January 2014 I began as Chief of Community Outreach for Wake County EMS. I strongly support all public safety agencies reaching out to, engaging and cooperating with all types of media.
