- About Me: Tim McCall is a musician/producer of Film/World/Electronic music. Since 1997 he has worked in many areas of the music industry including producing and performing at international music events, as a DJ on television, collaborating with other musicians, producing music for independent film, sample library production, and has released music on countless electronic music compilations as well as several albums and EPs.
Raised in a very musical family, he learned much about music and the importance it plays in our lives. He was drawn early on from the age of 12 to 80's pop and early techno music, leading him to experiment with various instruments and digital processing. Through his teenage years he tried many instruments and played in various rock and metal bands, and ultimately settled down into electronic music by age 17, when he began to dj a mixture of house and progressive trance. At that time he formed his first project "Jirah", which has continued until now as his main project in the electronic music genre.
In 2008, Tim started a new chillout/downtempo project under the artist name "Resonant Dawn". With this project, Tim began to explore the possibilities of fusing music of all kinds together, without any boundaries. Tim is taking this project into new exciting territory with each new release, and there are many exciting times ahead for this project!
Aside from his personal music projects, Tim also produces sample libraries, with two releases on Zenhiser Samples so far and several more due out soon.
