- About Me: My name is Lisa. I am 27 years old. I am the mother of one very active, very headstrong 3 year old boy. I was diagnosed with diabetes in April of 1999. I went through many struggles with diabetes, not only with myself but, my friends and family members as well. I decided to create this website to help those like myself living with diabetes. I also wanted to reach out to those supporting others with diabetes. My main focus is to educate and create a support foundation for diabetics, provide information that perhaps you don't know or even help you to make decisions involving your diabetes.
