- About Me: The Primary Care Training Centre has been training health care professionals and non-clinical staff for over fifteen years. During that time, many thousands of students have successfully completed one of our courses or study days.
The PCTC runs distance learning courses accredited by Teesside University in Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Women's Health, Respiratory Disease and Minor Illness and Injuries. We also have two accredited courses for Health Care Assistants, and an AMSPAR-approved course for Receptionists, together with a wide range of study and update days.
Health Care Assistants can now register on our Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE) in Primary Care, gaining them a formal university qualification with 120 credits at level 4. See our website for more details!
