- About Me: I live in the West of Ireland with my family . I love the outdoors and enjoy walking my dog beside the sea. My father was a chef / lecturer in catering so I was always aware of the taste of food. My childhood summers were spent touring around Ireland in a caravan with my parents so my Dad could visit his students who were on placements in the hotel kitchens. I remember the first time I tasted scampi in Kelly' Hotel in Rosslare and saw a dessert trolley for the first time!
