Syed Muhammad Abu Bakar is the founder and executive director of The Green Apple Project Pte Ltd.
Over 17 years of experience as a director in the corporate world, Syed Muhammad Abu Bakar is exceptionally effective in dealing with people from all walks of life.
His talent for engaging others soon cultivated in him a burning passion to speak as a mentor and a coach.
After triumphs over many gruelling life challenges, Syed feels strongly compelled to share the most valuable lessons he’s learnt with others with the intention to add value to their lives.
He has contributed much to organizations and institutes everywhere and they loved his vivacious and humorous delivery of topics at hand.
His hope is to educate others on how to navigate through the meanders of life effectively with minimal stress and a value-oriented approach to problem solving.
Today The Green Apple Project is the fastest rising youth inspiration organization in Singapore, after influencing over 2000 youths within its first year. The Green Apple Project specializes in turning youths into self-motivated achievers, passionate learners and dedicated leaders.
Under his leadership, TGAP is now also the partners to MENDAKI, ayasan MENDAKI (Council for the Development of Singapore Malay/Muslim Community) is a pioneer Self-Help Group formed in 1982 dedicated to empower the community through excellence in education, in the context of a multi-racial and multi-religious Singapore.
Also a partner to CLF, The inaugural Community Leaders’ Forum (CLF) on 11 October 2003 arose from a series of dialogues and focus group discussions, amongst Malay Members of Parliament, community partners and activists, on strategies to enable the community to realise its shared vision for excellence.
Syed Muhammad Abu Bakar is also the member of KESUMA, Managed by a group of entrepreneurs elected bi-annually at the Association Annual General Meeting. The Group consists of a President, Deputy President, Secretary, Treasurer and 9 Committee Members. We organised seminars, business and trade mission, mentoring programme, entrepreneurs programme for adults and students. Our yearly event 'Yescom' had been in the hearts of every students.
Syed Muhammad is also their Youth Entreprenuer Mentor and he have been engage by KESUMA for their yearly talks and some of the mentorship program and the students and teachers love his way of delivery even a dry topic also is very entertaining.
As a father of three sons, Syed is a dedicated family man who thrives on the love and passion he shares with his wife and kids.
