- About Me: Dametraus Lewis Jaggers accepted his calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the summer of 2008. He preached his first sermon at Mount Calvary Baptist Church on March 1, 2009. On May 23rd of 2010 he was licensed to preach the gospel and exercise his ministry, by Pastor Jeffery A. Dennis and the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio. Most recently, Dametraus served as Associate and Collegiate Minister at New Covenant Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN.
Dametraus is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He has been married to Kristen Jaggers for six years. He is the father of two sons, Davin and Dallas. Minister Jaggers earned a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master’s Degree of Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel, from Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio. He is currently completing a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Minister Jaggers has a passion for preaching and teaching the word of God. He has served as a Sunday school and bible study teacher for teenagers; and has previous experience directing college and young adult ministries. Dametraus is a man after God’s own heart; he loves God and he loves the people of God. Dametraus and his family currently reside in Knoxville, TN.
