- About Me: I was born in Ghana in 1984 and moved to the United States in 2003. I thought I was the only person in the entire world attracted to the same sex. My frustration was compounded by the fact that I had no one to talk to about my experience. The media only had negative things to say about homosexuality, so did the church, school and even my family. I knew I could not be as evil and vile as they all described homosexuality to be and I wish someone had pulled me aside to tell me, "It is OK. You are fine just the way you are."
Zusongshope is my way of reaching out to all the gay people of African descent who have limited avenues of inspiration and hope. "It is OK. You are fine just the way you are."
