Rosie & Ron’s Bring Me Happiness So Dearly – A Rock ‘n’ Roll Time Machine with a Doo-Wop Twist Alright, let me just say this upfront: Rosie & Ron’s Bring Me Happiness So Dearly is one of those albums that sneaks up on you like an old friend showing up at your door unannounced. It’s raw, it’s heartfelt, and man, does it have soul. Released under the Mem-O-Ree label (yep, they’re keeping vinyl vibes alive), this US-born rock gem leans into doo-wop territory without losing its edge. And honestly? I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Let’s talk tracks. First off, “So Dearly.” Oh boy, where do I even start? This song hits different—like, really different. The harmonies are tight, almost too tight, like Rosie and Ron spent hours in some smoky garage perfecting every note. There’s something about how the bassline groans underneath while their voices soar above it all. Like, it feels nostalgic but not in a corny way. You know when you hear a tune and suddenly you're transported back to summer nights or cruising down a highway with the windows down? That’s “So Dearly” for ya. Simple yet unforgettable. Then there’s “Bring Me Happiness,” which slaps harder than I thought possible for such a sweet-sounding track. The guitar riff here is pure fire—it doesn’t try too hard, but dang if it doesn’t make you wanna tap your foot till your shoe falls apart. What sticks with me most though is the chorus. It’s so straightforward, almost childlike, but it worms its way into your brain and refuses to leave. By the third listen, I was singing along like I wrote the thing myself. Here’s the kicker: despite the throwback vibe, nothing about this album feels forced or gimmicky. Sure, Rosie & Ron are clearly tipping their hats to the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll, but they bring enough modern grit to keep things fresh. It’s like finding a dusty record in your grandma’s attic and realizing it still sounds better than half the stuff on Spotify today. Final thoughts? Here’s the unexpected part: listening to Bring Me Happiness So Dearly made me wonder why we don’t have more bands doing this kinda thing anymore. Not just the music itself, but the whole package—the passion, the simplicity, the sheer joy of making noise together. Maybe it’s because everyone’s chasing trends instead of truth. Or maybe… just maybe… we need more duos like Rosie & Ron reminding us what real happiness sounds like. Either way, crank this album loud and thank me later.

It's amazing my uncle's song still is playing after all these years. He was such a quite person who loved his family. Doug is the only one of the 4 bros left. It was George Quinones my dad, Everett (Eddie) who I'm named after. The the half brothers from the same father and different mom was Ray Quinones and lastly Doug. I just wish we could a got together more.

May I explain right from the start
You've always been queen of my heart
Ooh wee ooh wee
Queen of my heart
No matter what I've said or done,
To me you'll be my only one.
Ooh wee, ooh wee
Queen of my heart
Here is my heart
To do with as you please
Here is the key
Open and you'll see
You'll find a love, a love all your own,
Here lies your treasure
Here lies your throne
Queen of my heart
No matter what I've said or done
To me you'll be my only one
Ooh wee, ooh wee
Queen of my heart, queen, queen of my heart
Queen of my heart
