Album Review: The Art Of Being Non by Talpa If you’re into the trippy, mind-bending vibes of Goa Trance and Psy-Trance, then The Art Of Being Non by Talpa is a ride worth taking. Released in 2004 under Sundance Records (Australia), this album feels like a journey through neon-lit forests and cosmic dreamscapes. Produced by Goran Juric and mastered by Michael Bates, it’s got that polished-yet-raw energy that fans of electronic music crave. Plus, Scozbor’s artwork? Total vibe booster. One track that sticks out is “Dragon Tale.” It’s one of those songs where you hit play and suddenly feel like you’ve been transported to some ancient mythical world. The beat builds up slowly, teasing you with these eerie synths before exploding into this hypnotic rhythm. You can’t help but move—it’s like your body just gets it. It’s the kind of song I’d imagine playing while flying on a dragon over a glowing alien planet. Yeah, it’s THAT cinematic. What’s cool about The Art Of Being Non is how timeless it feels. Even though it came out nearly two decades ago, it doesn’t sound dated. Maybe it’s because Talpa nailed the essence of what makes trance music so addictive—the ability to transport you somewhere else entirely. Talpa a.k.a. Goran Juric was born on 22nd of July, 1982 in Palic, Serbia. The very first idea for this project he got in November 1999 attending the big techno/trance party "TraNSplant 2" in Serbia. Produces a very unique psychedelic trance music.
