- About Me: Over 18 years ago I returned to Kamloops from Toronto and soon after started Powernet - a software firm in the very new field (at that time) of INTERNET MARKETING.
I developed an online marketing platform for small business made available through Chambers of Commerce called 'ChamberNet' and as a result was chosen as the 2001 Technology Innovator of the Year.
That same year I partnered with a friend to start ASL Internet - an Internet Marketing company for the auto industry. Our mission was to study everything in online marketing and develop the best software tools, websites and training for ONLINE LEAD GENERATION and INTERNET SALES. In 2008, after producing a powerful platform, training program and one of the largest footprints in Canada, we successfully sold ASL (rebranded Autonet) to Sun Media / Quebecor Media.
Internet Marketing has continued to change at a lightening pace with SOCIAL MEDIA, YouTube, and MOBILE devices. It has become a noisy world with mountains of information to learn and understand. YouTube is now the 2nd most popular search engine and VIDEO is the largest part of INTERNET TRAFFIC.
