Mannnn, did I ever underestimate the challenges of being a stay at home mom. I ach for the classroom, daily impact and connections I had with my students. Their hair-brained antic provided for comic relief that made me look forward to each day of school.
I am great full for this time home with my children while they are young. Though I underestimated the transition, from wrangling 30 teenager to two littles, there are so many beautiful and humbling aspects of being home with them and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I have a knack for finding my self situations where one could choose to laugh or cry and I almost always opt for laugh.
