- About Me: Life started for me back in the fifties in a hospital with my mom; as I wanted to be near her when my birth occurred. My first exposure of the world was one of a view that was completely upside down. The next thing I feel is a slap on the behind, perhaps symbolizing “the pain in the butt” I would become?
When I was 5 years old I visited my uncle in Mexico who was an artist. I spent most of the visit watching him draw charros (Mexican cowboys) and lettering signs for local businesses.
Came back to kindergarten and immediately started drawing cowboys with banana hats and Superman.
