- About Me: Hello!
My name is Robin Reecht, i'm a 20 years old student at ESG Business School in Montréal and the founder of Omône.
I emigrated at 17 from France to Canada so that i can have better opportunities to realize my projects.
I'm passionate of entrepreneurship and already won some contest (UQAM Entrepreneurship, Young Montréal's Chamber of Commerce Mentoring) for my previous projects in the recrutment field.
However, something was missing : Social Dimension.
I realized it after going to Philipinnes teach French for 3 months. Locals were eating the same food everyday, mostly rice, cause the rest was too expensive.
I then had an idea : Omône.
Omône, a 1$ food solution that reused the supermarket's wasted food. Back in Montréal, i focused on this project and contact different persons who could tell me about the faisability of the project.
Once sure i could do it, i built a business plan with objective of winning the SEPSI contest, a 5000$ price and the possibility of having mentors to help us make our project a reality.
The project is now on Kickstarter for a first 35 000$ raise.
From the realisation of the faisability study and the protypes to social capital venture for the funding of the factory, i think it's important that the entire funding come from a social way.
I believe that we have to be the change we want to see in the world.
It will be my pleasure to answer any of your questions.
Thank you all for your support!
Sincerely,
Robin Reecht
