- About Me: Dr. Gerald Zidak, Jr. is the son of Margaret and, as of May 29, 2013 the late,Gerald Zidak, Sr. He is also the Father of Dustin M. Zidak and Amber L. (Zidak) Sturchio and the Grandfather of Devin M. and Xavier J. Sturchio, Dayton Matthews and Keitz Ray Matthews. He comes from a humble, Christian family with strong moral values that have been passed down for generations. He is an Eagle Scout with the BSA. His father is an Electrical Engineer and graduate of PSU and his mother was a business major and a home health hospice nurse for decades. He was guided to do what was passionate in his heart and not what was pressured into him by teachers, peers and outer influences.
Dr. Zidak has always had a strong desire to help people. This influential guidance from his parents, grandparents and other family members stuck with Dr. Zidak throughout his life. While working his first business he attended college learning the basics of business and Finance at St. Vincent College, in Latrobe PA where he was born, but his education did not stop there. Now with 25+ years in helping the public he has advanced that knowledge base to many degrees including being a National Certified Estate Planner, A National Advisor and A National educator with his primary focus on making sure that the public has the knowledge to make informed decisions on their Estate and Retirement Planning.
Advancing to the highest level Dr. Gerald M. Zidak, Jr. has received the National Accredited Masters for Estate and Retirement planning with the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners. This adds the MCEP designation to a well rounded line of achievements for Dr. Zidak. Holding an associates in Business and accounting, a bachelors in Governmental accounting and finance, a Masters in Finance, a Doctorate in Business and Estate Law and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Counseling among many other certifications within the business, financial, retirement and Estate Planning realm.
