- About Me: I'm a hospitality professional who has gone off the rails! After 13 wonderful years of "giving it my all," I decided to take a much needed Destress Recess (Sabbatical) to recharge. This was an EXTREMELY hard decision to make because not only was I at the height of my career, it also went against everything our society says is correct/ appropriate/ beneficial/ etc. For someone with my type-A, goal driven personality, this seems like career suicide. However, I knew at my core I was not living my best life.
I have no idea if I will go back to work in a resort, but I guarantee I will be involved in the industry in some way because I love it!
