And trust me, it works. The first thing you notice about Slow Love is how smooth it goes down. Tracks like “Lost and Found” reel you in with their moody yet uplifting vibe. There’s something hypnotic about the way Vannelli layers his vocals over George Whitty’s arrangements—it’s not flashy but deeply textured, kind of like your favorite worn-in leather jacket. The keyboards swell gently while Randy Cannon adds these delicate piano touches that make you want to close your eyes and drift away. You don’t forget a track like this because it sneaks up on you, wrapping itself around your mood without asking permission. Then there’s “Tierras de Amores y Sombras,” which hits different entirely.
