Nice cover
Having met Chris through a friend of mine because he worked with one of the members of a group called Chris Gaffney and the cold hard facts he played the washboard RJ as time went on we would go see them play in different places and eventually they ended up at the canyon inn and would play every Thursday there we fill the place with friends and family and just had a blast well after he would play we would go to my mom's house because he loved Mexican food and he would ask me would your mom make today and I will tell him and we would hang out and listen to CDs in the garage drink beers well one day I put The Intruders on and he tells me I remember that song man that takes me back when to the days of living in Hawaiian gardens and he tells me alright I'm going to do next Thursday and if they say the rest is history he went on to record it with the hacienda Brothers and what a great version he did among others that he covered greatest man to see live that's for sure kept you rocking all nighthe liked a lot of oldies he had a lot of soul in him as well I miss him very much rest in peace Chris you were ATM " A TODA MADRE "

I thought of Chris as a Friend, I really enjoyed when he came to the office. We talked about all kinds of things, sports was really fun to talk with him about.
Sweet! Conjures up visions of 64 impalas cruising the park on a Sunday afternoon.
there was a connection between writer and singer
