Sven-Bertil Taube was a Swedish vocalist, recording artist and actor, born 24 November, 1934 in Stockholm, Sweden, died 11 November, 2022 in London, UK. He was the son of Sweden's possibly foremost, 20th century troubadour and artist . He had a thriving acting career in Sweden, both onstage and in movies, when he in the late 60s decided to try his luck on an international movie career, moved to London and had small parts in various movies such as 1976 WWII action thriller The Eagle Has Landed, with stars like , and . He gave up his international movie career in the early 80s, and continued where he once started by combining acting in Swedish movies as well as onstage - mainly in lightweight theatre, but also in plays by and , as well as continuing as a recording artist and performer, interpreting his father's songs, and songs by such diverse artists as and Swedish 18th century poet, songwriter and performer . Later in life, he would get worldwide recognition by starring in the first of the Swedish Millennium Trilogy movies, Män som hatar kvinnor (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), in 2009.
