Sex & Religion is a grossly undervalued epic... It was groundbreaking. Would love for Mr. Vai to do more in the same vein as this.
Two of the best to do it! I remember when this video was on The Headbanger's Ball, and I had to go get the CD after that!

I still remember buying this on release and being blown away, thinking who is that blowing out his vocal cords.. And at the time this album caught so mush shit too, it was the buildup from Passion and Warfare, and then such a departure that threw people, at least that's who I see it.
Devin's book brought me here.
Such an amazing array of unique alien skills… so how come they created such an incredibly forgettable album packed with tunes no one can recall

The last time I saw Steve Vai he was sitting with Frank, Ann Rand and Micky Mouse when a big shipping container fell on all their legs and shattered their legs into busted up bits of bone, blood and meat. Now they just work double shifts in a Chinese Chicken shop in Beijing plucking frozen chicken from Peru and whistling dixie.
