Carrions NN - Tapironto

Tapironto by Carrions NN: A Raw, Gritty Punk Masterpiece That Still Kicks Ass Alright, let’s get one thing straight—Tapironto isn’t for the faint of heart. This 1991 Italian punk/hardcore bombshell from Carrions NN hits like a boot to the face and doesn’t apologize for it. Self-released under their own label (or lack thereof), this album screams DIY ethos with zero fucks given. And honestly? That’s what makes it so damn good. The band’s lineup is tight as hell: Spanky on vocals spitting venom like he’s got a grudge against life itself, Marco "Z" and Oliver shredding guitars like they’re trying to set them on fire, Budda holding down bass lines that feel like gut punches, and Sergio pounding drums hard enough to wake the dead. It’s raw, unfiltered, and messy in all the right ways. Now, if I had to pick two tracks that stick in my brain like a bad tattoo, it’d be Filo Spinato and Soffoco. Filo Spinato is just relentless. The riffs are jagged, the pace never lets up, and Spanky sounds like he’s screaming directly into your soul. You can practically smell the sweat and rage dripping off this track. Every time I hear it, I wanna smash something—or start a mosh pit in my living room. There’s no pretense here; it’s pure aggression bottled up and thrown at your head. Love it or hate it, you won’t forget it. Then there’s Soffoco, which feels like drowning in chaos—but in the best way possible. The bassline throbs like a heartbeat about to explode, while the guitar work slashes through everything in its path. Spanky’s voice cracks under the weight of whatever demons he’s exorcising here, and damn does it hit home. It’s the kind of song that leaves you breathless, staring at the ceiling wondering what the hell just happened. Sure, some might call Tapironto sloppy. Maybe the production’s not perfect, and yeah, the mix has moments where things sound like they’re falling apart. But guess what? That’s exactly why it works. This isn’t polished pop-rock garbage made for radio play—it’s real, ugly, and visceral. It’s music that grabs you by the throat and demands your attention. So, here’s the kicker: listening to Tapironto almost three decades later feels like finding an old scar you forgot about. It hurts a little, but it also reminds you how much you’ve lived. Or maybe how much you haven’t. Either way, it’s a trip worth taking. Fucked up, loud, and unforgettable—that’s Carrions NN in a nutshell. Now go crank it up before the neighbors complain.

Interesting fact about Album

Here’s something cool: The album *Tapironto* by Carrions NN is a raw gem from the Italian punk and hardcore scene. Released in 1991, it was self-produced, which shows their DIY spirit. With tracks like "Pensando" and "Zona Morta," the band delivered intense, gritty sounds that still resonate with fans of underground rock. What’s wild is how they managed to create such a powerful record without big label support—just pure passion and grit. Props to Spanky’s voice and the tight rhythm section of Budda on bass and Sergio on drums for making it happen!
