Comments
In the late 1950's, a 45rpm record called "Boogie Woogie #2" was a popular selection in the jukebox of my father's restaurant in Wailuku, Maui. Jimmy Dorsey and his band were the artists. I recall liking especially the quick interchange between the trombone and sax at 1:10! A clever arrangement, I thought!
Ed, Edd, N Eddy and Tom and Jerry vibes?
Was it really Jimmy playing or one of his band members?
I would say that swings just a little.
LOVE this! Great memories!
Was this the last big band recording to reach the top 10?
The first "new wave in Jazz". Jazz with rock and roll sense.
Having lovely trips down memory lane with this beautiful music. Thank you!
Love This song SO MUCH! Thank You.
