Released under Virgin Records, this album blends hip-hop beats with RnB/Swing vibes in ways that feel like sipping soda on a summer day: fizzy, sweet, and occasionally messy but fun as hell. First off, shoutout to “Loverboy (Remix).” This track is straight-up iconic. It samples Yellow Magic Orchestra’s “Firecracker,” which gives it this retro-futuristic bounce that makes your shoulders shimmy without permission. Mariah’s vocals are smooth as butter here, gliding over the beat like she owns the damn thing. And honestly? That remix slap! It’s got more energy than your morning coffee and twice the sass. You can’t help but vibe to it—even if you’re just pretending to ignore how chaotic the movie was. Then there’s “Never Too Far.” Oh man, this song hits different.
