First up, “A Hazy Shade of Winter.” Damn, Paul Simon just doesn’t miss. The track slams you with gritty guitar work and percussion that feels like rain pounding against an old windowpane. It’s moody as hell—like walking through a gray December afternoon where nothing seems right but somehow everything makes sense. What kills me about this song?
