As a trainee teacher, I have had differing experiences using ICT in a classroom environment. Most of which have resulted in my usual comment, 'Miss Isaac and ICT just aren't friends'.
I guess this Blog is a way of making me learn and understand more about the benefits of ICT. The fact that I've got this far in making the blog really is a miracle.
I must say I'm a traditionalist when it comes to teaching and am not fond of having to use ICT in the classroom. However, slowly, but surely, I am starting to see the point. Afterall, the lecture we had with Miles and Rob the other day, sure helped me to realise that teachers of the future will be teaching in an environment more like that of a NASA space station. What next, not even going into school, but teaching via video conferencing!?!
It's all a little scary for me, but looks like it's not an option! ICT is the way forward whether I like it or not!
So the aim is to change my opinion from NOT to OK then!
