- About Me: An adept of the zen school of fixed-axle yo-yoing, Ed Haponik is probably best known for hitting difficult tricks on old-fashioned yo-yo’s. A member of Team SPYY, Ed's signature yo-yo's include the "Flying V" and "Ronin", along with the wooden, fixed-axle "Eh", which was the only yo-yo he played during 2012. An innovator of stall tricks and regens, he simultaneously turns back the clock and pushes it forward by embracing the creative potential of short spins and aggressive response. In addition to his day-job as a science teacher, Ed is a member of the Light Sleeper Society, a black belt in aikido, and a card-carrying member of the League of Extraordinary Dads.
