- About Me: My name is Victoria Watson — or Tori, if it suits you. I am a professional graphic designer and graduate of Iowa State University, where I earned a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and Magazine Journalism.
I grew up on an acreage in northwest Iowa. Although my small-town roots certainly influenced my style, I grew more and more inspired by larger cities. I graduated high school after three years and set off for college when I was 16. I recently moved to Dallas and I quickly fell in love with the city, kind-hearted people and warmer weather!
My work varies depending on the challenges set before me. However, I do carry a unique style from one project to another. I refuse to procrastinate and I'm a perfectionist by nature, so I quickly and efficiently polish each project until it meets my high personal standards.
I always seek to challenge myself with new art projects. I have displayed my artwork in the Iowa State Fair for five years, receiving a Merit Award in 2010, Honorable Mention in 2008, People's Choice in 2006, and Best of Show for a contest in 2004. In March 2010, my work received 'Best of Show' in the Art Directors Association of Iowa Student Design Exhibition.
