No Hay Tregua by Falsos Positivos: A Raw, Unapologetic Blast of Hardcore Punk Fury If you’re into music that punches you in the gut and leaves you gasping for air, No Hay Tregua by Falsos Positivos is your kind of album. Released back in 2010, this Spanish hardcore punk gem doesn’t mess around—it’s loud, it’s pissed off, and it feels like a kick to the chest in all the right ways. With its mix of raw aggression and heartfelt rebellion, this record sticks with you long after the last chord fades. The album comes out swinging with tracks like “Valencia Hardcore,” which hits so hard it feels like the band’s hometown pride got distilled into pure adrenaline. It’s fast, chaotic, and kinda messy—but isn’t that what punk’s supposed to be? The energy here is infectious; I swear every time I hear those opening riffs, I wanna grab someone by the shoulders and shout, “DO YOU GET IT NOW?” There’s no pretense, no overthinking—just pure, unfiltered passion. That track alone makes me wanna break something (in a good way, y’know?). Then there’s “Llorando Tu Muerte,” which flips the script entirely. Instead of going full throttle, this one slows things down just enough to let the emotion sink in. It’s haunting, man. The vocals feel like they’re coming from somewhere deep inside, like the singer’s carrying this unbearable weight on their back. You don’t even need to understand Spanish to feel it—the pain, the loss, the anger—it’s all there. This song reminds me how music can cut through everything else and just exist, raw and real, without needing to explain itself. What really stands out about No Hay Tregua is how unpolished it feels. Like, yeah, some parts sound rough around the edges, but that’s exactly why it works. It’s not trying to impress anyone or fit into some glossy playlist. This is music made by people who clearly had something to say and didn’t care if it came out perfect as long as it came out honest. Tracks like “Matar O Morir” and “Nuevo Orden Mundial” bring that same level of intensity, tackling themes of resistance, frustration, and survival without holding back. And props to the labels involved—Distribuidora Soroll, Violent World, Santa Mort Records, Comets & Anchors, El Grillo Libertario, Fragment Music—for putting this out. Honestly, it feels like an underground labor of love, stitched together by folks who believe in the power of DIY culture. So, yeah, listening to No Hay Tregua feels less like hearing an album and more like getting hit by a train full of emotions. But weirdly enough, it’s also kinda comforting. Maybe because it reminds me that being angry or sad or lost doesn’t mean you’re alone. Sometimes, screaming along to a song is all you need to keep going. Oh, and here’s the kicker—I listened to this while cooking dinner once, and ended up burning my pasta. Totally worth it though.
