Digital Masala: A Psychedelic Journey Worth Remembering Released in 2014 by Parvati Records, Digital Masala is one of those albums that feels like a trip without the need for plane tickets. With its roots planted firmly in Denmark, this compilation taps into the pulsating energy of Psy-Trance, offering listeners an eclectic mix of tracks crafted to get your head nodding and feet moving. The vibe? Electric. The mood? Utterly hypnotic. The album kicks off with "Q On The Brain," a track that hits you like a caffeine rush on a Monday morning. It’s sharp, punchy, and layered with enough quirky synth lines to keep things interesting. What makes it stick in my mind isn’t just the relentless beat—it’s how unpredictable it feels. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, there’s another twist. This tune reminds me why Psy-Trance can be so addictive; it doesn’t just play—it evolves. Another standout is "Shaolin Shiva." If “Q” was the jolt, this one’s the deep dive. There’s something almost meditative about its groove, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath the surface calm lies a storm of intricate rhythms and textures. You could easily lose yourself in this track during a late-night session or even while zoning out at home. I caught myself humming parts of it days later—not because I tried, but because it kinda worms its way into your brain (in a good way). Credit where it’s due: Giuseppe did a stellar job compiling these tracks, ensuring they flow together seamlessly. Monno handled mastering duties, giving each song that polished yet raw edge Psy-Trance fans crave. And let’s not forget Betina Parvati’s artwork—visually striking, it perfectly mirrors the chaotic beauty of the music inside. Looking back, what strikes me most about Digital Masala isn’t just the quality of the tracks—it’s the sense of adventure. Psy-Trance often gets pigeonholed as repetitive, but this album proves otherwise. It’s vibrant, diverse, and unapologetically bold. Listening to it feels less like spinning a record and more like stepping into someone else’s dream—a technicolor, slightly wonky dream. Oh, and here’s the kicker: halfway through writing this review, I realized I still had “Fingers Crossed” stuck in my head from last week. Guess some tunes just refuse to leave quietly.

I, Bow down, to my Lord Shiva i.e Everything, for giving Shaolin, Kung fu to the World. Was much required for the healing process of the Chinese civilization, that owes its culture to India. Open up the Lord Shivas, Temples, of Martial Arts. Its high time, that they do It right away, otherwise, Japan Is going to be quite angry. We don’t want to see that movie, Empire of the Sun, again. So, you do have another way, i.e Aum Namah Shivaya.??
