Crayons 粉彩派對 by Donna Summer: A Colorful Sonic Journey If you’re into music that feels like a party but still has some depth, Donna Summer’s Crayons (粉彩派對) is worth your time. Released in 2008—yes, over a decade ago!—this album is a vibrant mix of Pop, Funk/Soul, and Electronic vibes. It bounces between House beats, Dance-pop energy, Contemporary R&B smoothness, and even a little Disco nostalgia. And let me tell ya, it works. Donna wasn’t just coasting on her legendary status here; she brought in some serious talent. Producers like Greg Kurstin (you know him from all those modern hits) and J.R. Rotem helped craft tracks that feel fresh yet familiar. The whole thing was polished by Chris Gehringer, so the sound is crisp as heck. Plus, with photography by Michael Brandt and design by Julian Peploe Studio, the visuals match the vibe: bold, playful, and full of life. Now, onto the tunes. There are 13 tracks, but two really stuck with me. First up is “Stamp Your Feet.” This one’s impossible not to move to.
