Review by Regardt Stander

The Bitter End by Reproach: A Wild Ride Through Punk, Hardcore, and Thrash Chaos Alright, let’s get this straight—The Bitter End by Reproach isn’t just another rock album. Released in 2016, it’s got the grit of punk, the intensity of hardcore, and the speed-fueled madness of thrash all rolled into one chaotic package. And yeah, with labels like Crapoulek Records (or was it Der Crapület? Honestly, there’s so many I lost count) backing them up across France, Japan, the US, and Hungary, you know they’re not messing around. This thing hits hard right from the start, but two tracks stuck out to me like a sore thumb—or maybe more like a bruise that won’t quit throbbing. First up is “Bleed For The Cause.” Whoa, man, this song doesn’t just punch you in the face—it kicks you while you’re down too. It’s got this relentless energy, like someone lit a fire under the band and told ‘em they had five minutes to save the world. The vocals are raw as hell, and the guitar riffs sound like they were forged in some underground bunker where only chaos reigns. You can tell this track means business—it’s angry, loud, and unapologetic, which makes it impossible to forget. Then there’s “Zombie Apocalypse,” because how could I not mention a song with a name like that? This one feels like a mixtape for the end of the world. The drums crash in like buildings collapsing, and the lyrics are packed with enough apocalyptic imagery to make your head spin. What really gets me, though, is the breakdown near the middle—it’s heavy enough to make even the most jaded metalhead nod along. Plus, who doesn’t love a good zombie reference? It’s fun, it’s brutal, and it perfectly captures the vibe of the whole album. Other songs like “Constant Pressure” and “Hopeless” keep the momentum going strong, but honestly, every track here brings something wild to the table. Whether it’s the snarling aggression of “Tsar Bomba” or the pissed-off desperation of “…And For What,” Reproach knows how to keep things interesting without ever letting up. What’s kinda nuts is how global this album feels. With releases spanning four countries and nearly a dozen labels, it’s like The Bitter End has roots everywhere. That might explain why it sounds so damn unhinged—it’s got influences coming at it from all directions. One minute you’re hearing classic American punk vibes, the next it’s got that European thrash edge that’ll leave your ears ringing. So yeah, if you’re looking for an album that punches first and asks questions later, The Bitter End is worth your time. Just don’t expect anything polished or safe—this thing is messy, loud, and gloriously out of control. Honestly, after listening to it on repeat, I’m starting to think Reproach might’ve sold their souls to pull off something this ferocious. Or maybe they just drink way too much coffee. Either way, hats off to ‘em. Oh, and here’s the kicker—I swear my dog started barking every time “Bleed For The Cause” came on. Guess even he couldn’t handle the chaos.

Interesting fact about Album

Here’s something cool: The album *The Bitter End* by Reproach is like a global punk rock passport. Released in 2016, it got released in four countries—France, Japan, the US, and Hungary—each with its own unique music scene. It’s wild how one record can connect such different cultures through thrash, punk, and hardcore vibes. Oh, and fun twist: there are two tracks named almost the same—"Bleed For The Cause" and "...and For What," but they’re slightly different. Maybe it’s a happy accident or just a sneaky nod to their chaotic energy. Pretty rad, right?
